These terms cover your use of the Deck Pointer app and the deckpointer.com website, both operated by MINISTRY OF GOOD VIBES LLC (“we”, “us”). By using either, you agree to them.
Acceptance
By installing or using the Deck Pointer app, or by using deckpointer.com, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use them.
The app is distributed through Google Play and is also subject to Google Play's own terms.
Licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the app on devices you own or control, for your own personal use.
Beta software
Deck Pointer is new software. The Android app is distributed through Google Play and the iOS app through a TestFlight beta. It can change, break, or be shut down without notice, and access to it can be revoked at any time.
If you send us feedback or bug reports, you're giving us permission to use them to improve the app, without any obligation to credit or compensate you.
Acceptable use
Don't use the app to bypass another product's security, don't use it to violate the terms of any third-party service or game, and don't attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from it beyond what applicable law expressly allows.
Games, anti-cheat, and automation
Deck Pointer works by acting as a Bluetooth HID device — the same category as a physical mouse or keyboard — and its Actions feature replays cursor moves, clicks, and keystrokes you recorded yourself.
Some games and their anti-cheat systems treat automated input, however it's produced, as a rule violation. Whether that applies to a given game is between you and that game's publisher, not us. You're responsible for knowing and following the rules of any game or platform you use with Deck Pointer, and we're not responsible for any suspension, ban, or other action a third party takes against your account as a result.
Your content
Your presets and recorded Actions belong to you. They're stored only on your device — we have no copy, no access, and no way to see them.
Trademarks
Deck Pointer is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Valve Corporation, Steam, Steam Deck, Google, Android, Google Play, or Ubisoft. Any device or game names used on the site or in the app are factual references for compatibility, nothing more.
No warranty
The app and site are provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We don't promise the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every device or firmware.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MINISTRY OF GOOD VIBES LLC isn't liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of the app or site, including lost data, lost progress, or a game account penalty.
Termination
We can suspend or end your access to the app or the site at any time, for any reason. You can stop using either at any time by uninstalling the app or simply not visiting the site.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, and any dispute will be handled in the courts located there.
Changes to these terms
We can update these terms as the app evolves. We'll update the date above when we do, and email iOS waitlist subscribers about any significant change.
